Whenever we went by a street lined with tents, Austin would point and say, “I did that!” Mommy had to explain that he meant he had gone shopping with her at the local Farmer’s Market. Now, no matter where they see the tents, he’s done that! The L.A. Farmer’s Market is great, but so are all the little ones. It is a great learning opportunity for teaching names of fruits and vegetables to the kids!! Lots of fun can be had!! 🙂
Weekend is Over!
June 22, 2009I’m sad! Our quick, long weekend wth Austi and family is at an end! We just got out of the pool and now it is time for them to pack up and head back to the airport! We had so much fun in this SHORT period of time! We even made it to DISNEYLAND! Now we must plot the next visit! And it is hopefully soon!! Grandchildren are so special!!
thebump.com – A Baby Information Website
June 18, 2009A friend at work showed me a very creative and informational website for new parents-to-be called thebump.com. She knows I’m interested in such things since my daughter is awaiting her second child. The article on “How Big is Baby” compares the baby size to fruit and tells whats going on for that time frame. Very interesting!!
Busy Day!
June 17, 2009Today was such a busy day that I just had no time to think of something creative!! I’m looking forward to Austin, Cyndi and Aron arriving tomorrow for some Grandma and Grandpa time. More pictures and more ideas for more books! Can hardly wait! 🙂
Nana’s Corner of Life
June 4, 2009I found a really neat grandparent website called Nana’s Corner of Life that is really worth checking out! There are awesome poems and good information there! Her motto is “Together we can create a better world!” Yes, we can! It’s well worth your while!

Grandpas Are Sharing Their Favorite Moments
April 24, 2009I have added a Shared Memories page to record some of the stories I am hearing as people react to my book Grandpa, Do It! I Do It, Too! It has been great fun to hear some great grandparent and childhood memories. Do add your own comments if you have a story to share, too!
