Grandpa Ron & I saw a full color ad in the Orange County Register and we thought to share it with those of you in the San Juan Capistrano vicinity. If you are available on Thursday, January 28, there is an event called “Stories That Sing! Storytelling Event” at St Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano. Nationally reknowned storyteller Victoria Burnett will give a special storytelling performance: 10 am for 2-4 year olds and 11 am for 5-10 year olds.
From the ad:
“Through stories and song Ms. Burnett captures the imagination and creativity of children by transporting them on a memorable journey. Ms. Burnett is St Margaret’s Lower School librarian and storytelling artist in residence. She has been a featured teller at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Smithsonian Institution, and received the 2003 Telly Award for outstanding children’s programming.
The event is free and open to the public. To RSVP, please contact
Sherry Wagner, sherrywagner@smes.org, or 949.66.0108 ext. 248.
