I don’t remember how I found this blogspot but it had an interesting interview with the twin authors of The Siblings’ Busy Book that I just ordered for my daughter. It has at-home activities that keep the interest of brothers and sisters of different ages while they are creating something together.

Mohawk Valley Artists’ Guild Spring Faire

Carole Hale (Grandpa Ron’s sister) will be the Featured Artist at the “Bursting Into Spring” Arts and Craft Faire. The annual faire is sponsored by the Mohawk Valley Artists’ Guild at the Graeagle Firehall, 7620 Highway 89, Graeagle, CA, as a fundraiser for their arts in the schools. This year it will be held May 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Refreshments of coffee, lemonade and cookies will be served all day. No other food is available. Earth Day Celebration at WRD on April 18

Just got a phone call about an Earth Day Celebration tomorrow, April 18, 2009, at the LA Water Replenishment District Offices in Whittier, CA, from 10 am until 2 pm.

Earth Day 2009 is a free community-wide event that seeks to promote environmental awareness and education for the whole family. The event features educational booths, interactive workshops, water recycling tours, puppet shows, train rides, arts and crafts, activities for children, and entertainment such as music, an environmental magician, and more. Learn what you can do to conserve and protect the environment!

Take the Crossroads exit off the 60 Freeway and follow the signs! The link has a map!
