The Oregonian had a great front page article by Joe Rojas-Burke on the science of snow. Unfortunately, the same illustrations weren’t online, though. There was a side-bar on the uniqueness of snowflakes from “Snow Crystals” by W.A.Bentley and W.J. Humphreys, published in 1931. Here is a neat little list of snow crystal books on Amazon.
